Best Places To Visit Around The World This Fall

2018 is passing at the speed of light. It is hard to take out time for traveling. If you did not take a vacation this summer you can still travel coming fall. There are plenty of nice places ranging from budget-friendly to ultra-luxurious. If you are into winter sports like skiing then you are in luck as fall is the best time to travel. If you want to escape the cold there are warm beaches in the Southern Hemisphere.
Leave everything that you are doing and look at these destinations to start planning your next visit:

Banff, Canada

Banff is Canada’s oldest national park and is located in Alberta. It is the mecca for winter sports like snow-shoeing, rafting, dog sledding, and skiing. Imagine skiing with the Northern lights in the background. Can anything be better than that to do in fall?
Do not forget the many hot springs Banff is popular for. There is just so much to do there that your entire trip will be filled with activities and sports. It is a great place to visit with family or friends. 

Bali, Indonesia

Even if you have already been to this majestic island, it is still worth visiting again. It is a mix of culture and nature that leaves you ecstatic. Explore the many temples or relax on the endless beaches. The island is tropical and offers a wide range of accommodation options. 
Some of the popular places to visit in Bali are Tanah Lot Temple, Mount Batur, Uluwatu Temple, and Dreamland beach.

Hong Kong

Hong Kong is a glittery city that will also tantalize your taste buds. Hong Kong has a vibrant culinary scene from high-end restaurants to delicious street food. From dim sum to pineapple buns, you can try so many new things.

If you love architecture, visit the 800 years old town of Lijiang. The locals have protected the heritage and it will take you back in time. The capital city of Kunming is also rich in culture with many beautiful temples. 

Penang, Malaysia

The island of Penang in Peninsular Malaysia is a food paradise and it is dirt cheap. Your flight to Penang would probably be the only big expense. While you are there, make sure to try the famous Asam Laksa. The best way to explore it is to rent a scooter and get a map. 
George Town in Penang is decorated with very creative street art. At night, you can grab some cold beers at the many roadside bars. 

PyeongChang, South Korea

When it comes to skiing and other winter sports, South Korea is not exactly the prime choice. However, all of that is changing because of PyeongChang. The city hosted the 2018 Winter Olympics and has garnered global attention. 
The mountain region of PyeongChang is great for skiing. While you are there, you can also explore the South Korean culture and cuisine. 

Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona

This is one of those places that are present on everyone’s bucket list. If you have not seen its glory in person, this fall may be the time to do so. The rock formations that stretch over 277 miles offer majestic beauty and plethora of hikes. 
It is visited by over 6 million people every year. People from all around the world come to Arizona for this wonder. If you get a chance, raft down the Colorado River. 


For those who are always on the lookout for secluded places, Serbia might be a great option. Serbia was part of the former Yugoslavia and is finally attracting tourists. The capital Belgrade is a beautiful city but do not limit yourself to the main city. The towns of Niš, Zemun, and Zlatibor are equally beautiful and offer a wide range of attractions and activities. 

Traveling in fall can be cheap too depending on your destination as summer is the peak time for most places around the world.
