Top Menswear Trends This Fall Season

Fall is here and the trends we saw on the runway are about to make a major impact. For the last few seasons, there were not many fresh trends but this year, there is so much going on. This is the time of the year when your wardrobe is in a serious need of a reboot. Keeping all those essentials aside, you do need to add something new and trendy to spruce up the look.
Finally, more designers and brands are paying attention to the needs of men and producing clothes that have an expression. After all, men have a lot to say too. So for all those men who like to be on top of their style game, here are all the latest trends you need to know about this fall:

Brown Is Big

Usually black is the king color when it comes to fall menswear but this year something is different. Brown with all its power was a major color on the runways and is going to be a strong presence at all the racks. From high-end brands like Fendi to more affordable ones like Blue Navy, brown is a recognizable color this season.

Perhaps it is time to bring out your khakis and brown leather jackets once more. In fact, everything can be brown from bomber jackets to overcoat. If brown is your favorite color, this season is all yours.

Head to toe leather

Men mostly associate leather with jackets or gloves. However, that thinking is gradually changing and leather is taking over the whole outfit. From long leather overcoats to leather pants, a full leather look is downright sexy. That Matrix vibe is going to be one of the biggest trends this winter.

Going all out with leather means some serious spending but it does not have to be. You do not have to spend on luxury brands to get the best leather. There are many brands that have decent quality leather goods and the best part is you can even use promo codes when buying from them.

The Nineties are back

Somewhere between checkered pants and tracksuits, we have arrived yet again into the nineties. If you know your nineties fashion well, you are good for the upcoming season. Some of your old pieces or perhaps your dad’s things from the nineties if you are under thirty would be perfectly acceptable.

Many of the top menswear brands sent outlooks on the runway that breathed the essence of the nineties. If you are looking to add one thing that screams the nineties, go for a bucket hat.

Hiking Boots

This one may sound a bit odd but you may be able to rock your hiking boots on the street this season. Big chunky boots and sneakers have been all the rage for the past few years and this fall is no different. It is a bit of a risk but if many of the looks fresh off the runway are to go by, you can definitely rock them Timberlands at the party.

Not just hiking boots, the overall look of a hiker would be rather stylish this season. Long coats, lots of pockets, backpacks etc. will make you look like you are going to climb mountains when you are actually just heading out for the night. How cool is that?

Cowboyish

This trend has been in the making for the past few years. Some started with bolo ties while others went all out with tasseled jackets.  But now it is here and you can be the cowboy you always wanted to be. The Rodeo look is in this season and you will definitely find many brands producing their collections around that.

Besides clothing, cowboy boots are back in business as well. Obviously, they are a bit more conspicuous and some men may not prefer such gaudy boots. However, if you are one of those that do love them then wear them out and proud.

Suede

Suede really is timeless! Your suede jackets and boots would be perfectly on trend this season. However, it would be bolder to have suede in other parts of your wardrobe. How about suede caps? Or better yet suede bags? You can have as much as suede as you like in your wardrobe because of its’ the season.

If taking the suede road, it is best to invest only in high-quality suede. Luxury suede has its own distinction. Regardless of the price tag, it will require some serious care. There will be many more seasons when you will wear those boots and jackets so make sure to buy the right brushes and sprays to keep them good as new.

Chunky Sneakers

There is no sign of chunky sneakers leaving any time soon and this year too there has been release after release from high-end brands. They can bring a lot of funk to your look. You can buy from one of the high-end brands or go for more affordable options from the likes of Nike and Puma, whatever your pocket allows.

Besides being trendy, they are quite comfortable. However, it does not apply to all the models. Some are actually quite heavy for a sneaker. If you want a pair of sneakers that you can wear every day then perhaps regular sneakers would be a better fit.
These are all the top trends for men this fall season and are quite easily achievable. You do not need a lot of money to have some of these styles in your wardrobe. In fact, you might already have some pieces lying around that will be a perfect fit for the season. Some styles are timeless and they will, of course, work well this fall as well. A sharp black suit with an overcoat would be perfect for any formal event. It is all about how you combine the latest trends and your own personal style.
